Energy and water efficiency
With the cold weather becoming a distant memory, along with the hike in energy prices and talk of diminishing supplies, consumers are now being warned to conserve water. Although the government hasn’t urged people to share a bath yet, hosepipe bans are firmly in place in the South East. Many consumers are now asking what they can do to help in the continual battle to save water and energy.
The Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering has added an ‘Environment’ section to its website www.iphe.org.uk which gives advice on: Energy Labeling; Condensing Boilers; Heating Controls; Insulation; Grants; Water Conservation and Alternative Energy.
Consumers looking for a professional plumber will find a list of IPHE Registered Plumbers in their area, simply by putting in the first part of their postcodes.
