Have your say!
Regular visitors to the Institute of Plumbing's website www.plumbers.org.uk will no doubt welcome back the popular discussion forum "Have your say!" For several months the forum has been off-line while Webmaster James Robshaw carried out a complete review."This was necessary due to a small number of visitors who were misusing the free facility," said James. "The new forum is much improved and now allows people to take part in polls. Anyone can read the messages, but if they want to post a message of their own or vote in a poll visitors will have to register whether members or non-members. Registration will be verified by email once they have agreed to the forum terms of service. Online help is available if anyone is unsure how to proceed," he added.
The new forum is only the beginning of the work that will be carried out to update and revamp the Institute's websites. Over the next few months the appearance of www.plumbers.org.uk and www.registeredplumber.com will change to reflect the ever evolving role and authority of the Institute.
