Innovation Seminar
The Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (IPHE) is working in partnership with Pera, to hold a free Innovation & Innovative Products seminar and exhibition on 8th November 2007 at Pera Innovation Park, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Part of the seminar will focus on the conclusion of the Low Heat project and will include a demonstration of the new technology. Climate change and the need for energy efficient products will also be discussed along with European funding opportunities; new innovative products coming to market and ‘green’ plumbers.
Delegates will have the opportunity to see many innovate products on display in the exhibition area. Registration starts at 9.15am and the seminar starts at 10am sharp. This not to be missed event finishes at 3.30pm. Free lunch and refreshments are included!

Carbon Monoxide - The Silent Killer
As part of the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering’s (IPHE) Carbon Monoxide Awareness campaign, the IPHE, in association with the Nottingham & Derbyshire Branch, will be hosting a free National Seminar and Exhibition. Specialist speakers will raise the awareness of deaths and incidents related to CO poisoning from fuel burning appliances.
The event will be held at the Renaissance Hotel, Carter Lane East, South Normanton, Derbyshire DE55 2EH on 30th November 2007. The exhibition opens at 9.00am and the seminar starts at 10.00am. The event will close at approximately 4.30pm. Places are free but are limited so pre-booking is essential.
The Institute is a member of the Carbon Monoxide Consumer Awareness Alliance (COCAA) and is committed to raise the safety and health of the public in relation to plumbing and heating.
